Rankei is traditionally a style of lantern which is
designed to hang over water. When located at the edge of a pond or lake,
its reflective image will
appear on the water’s surface. This is an example of extremely
impressive craftsmanship as this lantern is completely hand carved. This

All you have to do is tell us what you'd like in your garden and our design team will create a drawing, and once approved by the customer we will then send off all bespoke details for the stone to be hand carved in to shape. All carvings can be of any size and any shape and any stone, polished or unpolished. This elephant is hand carved from grey granite in a rustic hammered effect.
